Description
Ultra-Band is a unique pre-mixed, hot applied, polymer modified, resin-based compound incorporating a mixture of selected aggregates and fillers. Ultra-Band has superior crack filling and sealing properties along with effective adhesion to all nonporous bituminous and concrete surfaces.
Ultra-Band has been formulated to have excellent load bearing and anti-oxidation properties. In its molten state the material flows and penetrates deep into cracks and joints setting to a resilient load-bearing finish. Ultra-Band cures in less than 30 minutes therefore allowing the highway to be opened with minimal disruption to road users. The final result is an impermeable and durable repair. There is no waste with Ultra-Band.
Uses
Ultra-Band is a single component material developed for filling, sealing and overbanding cracks and joints in non-porous bituminous and concrete surfaces. Cracks and joints are treated up to a width of 40mm and the overband seal can be applied up to a width of 200mm.
Ultra-band provides a flexible, effective and extremely durable repair that will prolong the service life of all bituminous surfaces.
